Day01 in Cambodia ~ 1 of the 7 Wonder of The World *Oct 3, 2011*

We were about to depart~
And check our face! Sleepy to the max as it was 5am!!!! >.<
Here we are, Cambodia!

Heard that the water is quite expensive in Cambodia... So we prepared the mineral water and sealed it from Malaysia :p
Nice decoration at the arrival hall
'tutu' that came to pick us from airport to ;)

Cool mineral water gave by the driver :)
Kid walking without shoes >.<
Surprised that lady sit with this pose.... Well, it's just hard to see in Malaysia
Another 'tutu' with customer and personal tour guide
Reached our hotel and while waiting for our room to ready...

Photo to our family - just to make sure that we arrived safely... ^.^

KC was playing pool while waiting for the room
Our welcome drink just to chill us~ NICE~!
And taadaa~~~ Here our room!
Convenient location of hotel, reasonable price, with GOOD SERVICE and clean room! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We decided to look for food after moved our baggage into the room.

Pink VS White

Our first meal in Siem Reap.... Angkor Palm Restaurant, which won some positive comments in Lonely Planet.

Attracted by the big drum! And guess how much is that? Well, I was almost bought it once I know the price... Too bad, that was my first day, first destination.... Can't bring such big stuff with me in my trip.... >.<
forget about the price, mineral water was a MUST for me!!!
Mango lassi - one of my fav!
non of us able to resist the 'attractive' from mineral water!
Papaya salad - yum~
Fried rice 1
Mango lassi
Fried rice 2 *I have forgot what was the different with fried rice 1 :p *
Big water pool for the foot 'treatment'. It was really really cheap... I didn't tried as I worry for mixing my foot with others in the same water pool :p
Our friends were strongly suggested MUST have a try for the long loaf french bread. It was super easy to spot at road side!!! Cheap and nice!!!!
*i can even feel the taste now... >.< *
Cycling home...
Station where we bought our Angkor pass for the coming 3 days... Super less people as it was quite late...
Our 3-day Angkor pass!
I looked so 'no expression' as I don't know that the person gonna capture me! Otherwise I would give her a charming smile :(
Flood everywhere
It is normal to see Cambodian bath at the big drain *only for guy*
The national tree!
Victims from the war... There only able to sing/play music at the entrance of some tourist spot.
Walking up to the famous Bakheng mountain in the late afternoon and wish to see the beautiful sunset....

Spotted three ladies in a super beach wear and hiking here @.@
It was late and the guard is not allowed us from climbing up and see the nice sunset :(
What to do? Snapped photos :(

Crowded of people @.@ And it was really really steep :(
Praying~
Elephant ride
Had our dinner in KFC!!!! Know what, the KFC in Siem Reap is a lot delicious compared to Malaysia's KFC!
After dinner and bath, we decided to walk around at the pub street ^.^
Spotted a recommended pub here ---
RED PIANO!
The significant RED PIANO
Spotted a long LIMO outside! Wondering when we able to take this LIMO.... <<<--- dreaming again :p
TOAST~~~!!!

Angelina Julie was here for casting the movie Tomb Raider in year 2000, and this is the cocktail found by her *not sure how true it is, well just order and try :p *

Advise 1:
Check properly for how many day/s of entrace ticket you have purchased! It should printed at the entrance ticket!

Advise 2:
Many kids will try to pursue tourists to purchase something from them.
Well, the quality of some books were really good and remember! MUST BARGAIN!

Advise 3:
Purchase the Angkor's visitor pass in late afternoon or better just before the counter close to avoid long queue and also, get the free entrance to Bakheng mountain for the sunset view (well, do check the latest time for climb up the Phnom and never do the mistake as what we did again).
The pass will start to count on the next day ;)
