New Year Eve, December 31, 2010

It was new year eve celebration which hold by my dearest old friend Vivi at his house.
I was tighten up by my work and so I was late *and rushed to some mall to buy ice bucket and traffic was so jam everywhere*. Then, I saw Vivi's dark face*that was the first ever I saw his dark face for knowing him about 8 years* ... OMG! What I could said besides sorry?

 Our table setting.
You will never knew, I felt so warm at that moment, with friends. :)
By looking at the table setting and the simple decoration, I think this is the 'feel of house' that I was looking for....
YES! My future house needs to give me this kind of feel!

The master chef - Wilson aka Vivi, was busying to cook.

Starter - Scallops with asparagus.

Soup - Onion soup.

And I was busying to steal food at behind....

Main course -  Butter Salmon with broccoli, mushroom, mash potato, and beans.

Full and satisfied look with red wine.

Dessert - Fire banana.

Toast with Vivi.

Toast with JH.

View at balcony. Was waiting for the fireworks with our white wine.

What's more to make you happy than gather with people that you close to?

Ipoh trip, Oct 10, 2010

All are not in plan! Trust me!

Was trying my gown at Just Wardrobe, Kelawai Road, with JH and it was like 2pm... All of sudden, JH said wanna have dimsum on next day morning and I said I am lazy to drive down in the early morning... Then we decided to drive to Ipoh immediately for the sake of foods.

It was some public holiday for Ipoh state and we could not get any room in Parkroyal Hotel or Syuen Hotel by called... swt....What we could do was walk-in and tried our luck...

As expected, we were not lucky enough. What we could get from Parkroyal is some kind of suite which cost us ~RM400-500/night. So, we decided to try our luck at Syuen Hotel. It was around 10pm when we first reach Syuen. And guess what, we got our junior suite in ~RM400-RM420/night here. Were we lucky?!

Imagine, two ladies staying in junior suite, is kind of superb enjoy and below is our room...

*left* Living room with bar and toilet.
*right* Toilet in room.

And this is our big bed! *JH was reading newspaper*

Dropped little baggage in room and out for our dinner in 10pm+.... And this is where we were....
Lou Wong Tauge Restaurant for its....

Fishball soup.

Smooth chicken.

Koay Teow soup.

And my dear cousin brought us to drink the famous ice beer.
The cup is freezing cold and made the beer freeze in the cup and really nice! :)

Back to hotel and ready for next stop.... Teeheehee...
Well, since I never hangout at Ipoh, my cousin just brought us to join his friend's party at some club.
JH and I.

Me and my lovely cousin - Eddy, who used to play 'mamasak' with and my younger brother when we were like 9 years old.

It was about 7am in the early morning. The famous dimsum restaurant is just walking distance from our hotel.
Taadaa~ Fu Shan Dimsum Restaurant.

Discovered that our hotel have this rooftop swimming pool!!! Too bad, it was so crowded when I ready to swim later.... So I just walked back to room with my swimming costume......

Sky is getting bright and bright. What a relax Sunday morning after all the #$$%^#$@ things happened lately.

Rounded in Ipoh city without GPRS is really sad.... Kept calling friends and cousin and aunty uncle was what I could do.... Accidentally saw there were lots of people stop by at a tiny shop and lots of people are queuing for that. Curiosity made me leaded JH parked our car nearby and walked to the shop....

Looked not bad huh?

JH: Yum yum yum... The taufufa is so so so smooth.

Continue walked. Saw lots of people queuing outside a chicken rice shop.... Without any hesitate, we just headed to the shop for our lunch.

Smooth chicken, again.

Char Siew.

Tauge.

Sour vege.

And it was really really nice!

Collected what we had ordered previous.....
Yum yum salty chicken. Guess how many salty chicken we bought?!

After several calls for asking the way to original Old Town coffee.....
Nam Hiong Kopitiam is where old town coffee from....

Sin Yoon Loong is just in front of Nam Hiong and also produced the nice old town coffee.

And so, I brought few packs of white coffee from Nam Hiong and Xin Yoon Loong just for compare purpose :p.
