Day02 in Bali ~ Blue Sky & Blue Sea *June 26, 2011*

It was our first morning in Bali!

Ducky~

JH: (while holding camera to capture photos) "Can you hear ducks are laughing?"
BJ: (shock) "Huh? How you know they are laughing?" (while thinking maybe JH can see duck's expression through the camera's screen and so walking towards her try to look something from her camera...)
JH:"Can't you hear???"
BJ:"Huh?"(shock)
JH:"duck laughing - quack quack quack"
BJ:"....."
BJ:"muahahahahaha...."
Breakfast served with mixed fruits...
Something quite different here was the fruits MUST mixed with a slice of lime.... What was the reason? Anyone could let me know???

Started our first visited place at Taman Soekasada (aka. Water Palace)

It was built in the year of 1919 by late King of Karangasem. Water palace is used to welcome guest and kind-of 'holiday resort' for the king and his family.
The water palace is located in middle of the square pond... Shadow of building is reflected in the pond..... What a nice view......

In the palace

Another nice view~
And it was actually can even see the sea was just nearby!

These are the houses for the guests and some family members

Next, we proceed to Puri Agung Kerangasem.

Found this unique design on top of the roof! Why must this thing design in this shape? Anyone could answer me? Also,  was this a antenna? Or any other's function?

Jump solo ^.^

Jump ~

Wanted to act like a yoga advertisement... Too bad, failed~

Lunch beside the terrace paddy. What a relax lunch buffet we had...
*honestly, selection in the buffet was so limited and not taste as good as I imagined. Price was ~RM20 per person. View cost the value :)*

Rainy view at terrace paddy

Guess where was our next destination?
To show our respect, we were requested to cover our legs with a long cloth (for people who wore shorter than knee).

Taadaadaa... Besakih Temple!

Mmmm... I remembered my tour guide had told me the reason to have different level of spire.... Too bad, I totally forgot. :p

A prayer ceremony at Besakih Temple

Group photo in front the temple~
It was a rainy day >.< We had tried to catch every possible sun light in our screen....
Kintamani, famous with the active mount Batur and nice lake.

Honestly, I thought I could get some natural product from volcano mud here... Too bad, I was dreamed too much even in day time...
Okay, the temperature was quite cold there, maybe was caused of rain? Maybe was caused of highland? Maybe was caused of the strong wind? Anyway, this was the only place for me to put on my scarf in Bali.

Next, we went to Verona Spa for the nice view spa~
*too bad, rainy day made us can't see any paddy field in front of our open air spa room :'( *

Dinner at a restaurant which had nice live band. :)

Muaahahahah... They guessed that I was from Korea!!! Do I look like a Korean lady? :p

Onion soup.... Too oily!!!
Pork rib... not bad~
